This is a beautiful Celtic cartilage earring, that will always attract attention!
It is a single helix earring made of solid 14k gold and has an elegant matte finish.
It is held by a hole on the top of the ear and comes with a 14k gold ear backing.

The length from side to side is 0.8 inches ( 2.2 cm ).
The width in the widest place is 0.2 inches ( 0.6 cm )
The post in the ear is made of 19 gauge ( 0.9 mm ) wire.
You have to choose which color of gold you want the earring to be- yellow or white.

As it comes as a single ear piercing, and not a pair when ordering please state which ear you want it for- the left or the right ear.
YOU MIGHT ASK YOURSELF- WHY DOES SHE MAKE THE BACK OF THE HELIX EARRING A BUTTERFLY BACK AND NOT A BALL BACK OR USE AN INTERNALLY THREADED POST TO MAKE IT MORE COMFORTABLE WHEN SLEEPING?
First of all, I don't advise wearing the earring when sleeping, since it can bend from the weight of the head on it and cause irritation to the ear when sleeping with it since it is big.
Second, to make the earring fit perfectly on the ear ( like it looks on the model ), it needs to be held firmly on the ear, so it won't move or lean over at a weird angle.
And since every person's ear has a different width, I need a solution that allows flexibility of where the back holds onto the post, and I've found that the butterfly back is the best solution for this.
